Example maps

The maps on this page are based on data from the ERA5 data set, and were drawn using the NCAR Command Language (NCL). See the acknowledgments on the Overview tab. The data plotted are 1991-2020 long-term means. The resolution of the data behind the ERA5 global maps is 0.25 degrees. The maps here will likely be modified, and gradually added to.
